The American Board of Dermatology mourns the death of ABD Board of Directors member Karynne Duncan, MD. Dr. Duncan volunteered hundreds of hours over the past 15 years to writing and editing exam items. She was elected to the ABD Board of Directors in 2020.
Dr. Duncan served on the faculty at the University of Colorado in both the departments of Dermatology and Internal Medicine before moving to St. Helena, CA, and founding Duncan Dermatology. She was co-author of the textbook Dermatology Essentials.
Her leadership, wisdom and warmth will be greatly missed.
