What changes to the ABD’s Continuing Certification Program begin in January 2026?
The ABD is making several changes that will:
- Simplify the process
- Set a passing score which establishes CertLink as a scientifically (psychometrically) validated assessment platform.
The simplified process includes four components:
- CertLink
- Practice improvement (one activity every 5 years)
- Active, unrestricted medical license
- Annual fee (Still $150 – no extra fees, no increase since 2006.)
