My current continuing certification cycle is 10 years. Is it possible that this could change?

No specific plans have been made to change the cycle length. However, the ABMS is redefining standards for continuing certification to make requirements more uniform across ABMS member boards. This may also include more uniform continuing certification cycle lengths, which may affect some boards (those requiring oral exams, for example) more than others.
