To generate your Certification Mark, please enter your name on the Certificate Information page in your profile:
- Click 'My Account' at the bottom of the blue profile box on the right of the screen.
- Select 'Certificate Information'.
- Click the Edit link above the instructions.
- Follow the instructions to enter your formal name.
- Click SAVE at the bottom of this screen.
After your formal name is entered, you can return to this page to generate your Certification Mark.
Diplomates holding an active certification from the ABD are encouraged to use a customized certification mark to inform the public that they meet the certification requirements established by the ABD, including education, training, and experience. Diplomates may use this certification mark on letterhead, printed office materials, websites, and social media profiles.

To adjust the format of your name, please send an email to the ABD office outlining exactly how your name should appear on the Cert Mark.
