Do I need to submit a case log, or any other documentation, to be approved to take the MDS Exam through the practice pathway?

There is no requirement for submitting a case log when applying for the MDS Exam through the practice pathway. The ABD accepts a diplomate’s attestation that he or she is an experienced Mohs surgeon.

However, if questions are raised about a candidate's qualifications to take the exam, we will ask for evidence of the diplomate’s surgery practice and that might include a 6-month case log.
