As a non-time-limited certificate holder, if I participate in CertLink am I required to participate in the rest of the continuing certification process?

No. If you do not participate in the continuing certification process, your designation on the ABD and by ABMS websites will remain “Certification: American Board of Dermatology; Participating in Continuing Certification Requirements: No”.

Should you opt to participate in the continuing certification process, your designation by ABMS will be “Certification: American Board of Dermatology; Participating in Continuing Certification Requirements: Yes”.
