JAMA Dermatology CPC Challenge

3 MOC SA credit for each case study - 36 SA credits per year

  • The JAMA Dermatology CPC Challenge presents a clinical vignette that includes history, physical examination, and ancillary investigations including skin biopsy findings, followed by a board-style quiz question. The following page includes the answer and discussion of the correct diagnosis and incorrect choices.

Credit may be claimed on your ABD MOC Table after completing each exercise, or after accumulating many credits. Simply note the name of the challenge(s) completed when claiming credits.

Completing every CPC Challenge in a given year yields approximately 36 credits. This is enough to meet minimum MOC SA requirements (100 credits every 3 years).

Diplomates may claim up to 36 points of retroactive MOC SA credit for JAMA Dermatology CPC Challenges completed over the previous 3 years.
