CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE

A candidate with chemical dependency or substance abuse will not be permitted to take the examination unless he/she can submit evidence, which must be verifiable, that the disorder is being treated and is under control. Individuals with such problems or a history thereof must provide the necessary documentation at the time of application to take the examination. A confirmatory letter from a licensed physician within one month of the examination stating that the disorder no longer exists or is currently controlled is also necessary.
