Q: Why won't the test load?
A: Typically this is a problem with spyware or pop-up adware software running on your machine. To resolve this issue hold down the left "Ctrl" key while clicking on the exam you wish to take.
A: Another possible solution is to reduce the privacy setting in your browser. Right click on the IE icon and select "Properties/ Privacy/" and slide the scale to it's lowest setting.
A: If your have a home firewall, reduce the security/privacy setting, or turn off the security software completely and try loading the exams again to see if this resolves the problem.

Q: What software do I need to take a test?
A: Software compatibility is primarily determined by the browser you are using. This site supports Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.01 and Netscape Communicator 4.01. All later versions of the browser are also supported. Most operating systems are supported, including Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Q: What hardware do I need to take a test?
A: In addition to having a computer that supports one of the required browsers, you will need to have a color monitor capable of displaying 800x600 with 32-bit color. For best results, use a 17” or larger monitor that supports 1024x768 resolution.

Q: Will the test work over a dial-up connection?
A: You can take the test using a dial-up modem, but the performance will be slow. This test contains many large graphics, which could take up to 30 seconds per question to load. For an optimal experience tests must be taken using a broadband connection, such as DSL or a cable modem.

Q: Can I take this test using paper and pencil?
A: No. This test is only available using a computer.
